Increasing the camera distance is a good idea. If you don't have one, a tripod is a great help if you can find one. The other thing I always encourage is natural (at least available) light. Not sun but soft window light from the side is wondeful. Also think about adding a reflector - white board on the opposite side to fill the deep shadows a little.

Absolutely turn off the on-camera-flash. the most useless light on the planet.

Try rotating the head, not doing strait on shots. Move your head so you can see the neck stretching. Do some with hair up or down, I guess just try and make it interesting. Like show the neck lines etc.

Does any of that make sense?

Yeah I'm going to use all that. I was thinking of poses or themes people might need or want.

Oh and you can use the camera flash by either diffusing it with some white fabric over the flash or redirecting it with a small hand mirror off a white wall.

Yep. Got any particular theme in mind? I got some gloves and armwarmers I thought I'd add to some of them too. And different necklaces and props.

Those all sound good to me. What if you did you hair like Chinese style or something. On necklaces what if you just followed the line down you body more. Gloves and hand warmers should be cool. Whatever you do will be great!
